Billing and customer support
When paid subscriptions are enabled, Creem processes checkout and payment information as Merchant of Record. We store subscription and transaction records linked to your account to provide paid features, resolve billing issues and prevent fraud. We do not store full card details. Email service providers process the contact details and support messages you send so we can respond and resolve your request.
Retention and your requests
Account and billing records are retained as needed to operate your account, support purchases, prevent fraud and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. You can request access, correction or deletion by email. Some transaction records may need to be retained after account deletion. You can remove local recovery data by clearing this site's browser storage; export your work first. Service providers may process data outside your country under their applicable safeguards and policies.
Editing and access
Basic editing does not require sign-in. Displacement editing and export require a Pro subscription.
Local files
Files are processed locally in your browser. SVGA, PNG, video, and exported files are not uploaded to our servers for editing. Browser storage can hold a local recovery draft; signing in does not turn it into cloud storage.
Account information
We use an authentication service provider to handle your email address and sign-in session. We store an account identifier and display name to identify and manage your account. If you choose Google sign-in, we can receive your name and profile image. Account information is stored separately from your editing files and local recovery drafts.
Services and analytics
Email service providers deliver sign-in codes. We use Google Analytics to measure page views and feature usage, including sign-in and feature-access outcomes, to understand and improve the service. The analytics events we send do not include email addresses, display names, verification codes, sign-in tokens, filenames or file contents.
